چکیده مقاله:
Background: High-intensity interval training is a new training method that has been less explored in patients. Aim: The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of eight weeks of interval training with continuous training on changes in HRR and lipid profile in cardiac patients post-coronary artery bypass graft. Methods: In this clinical study, 30 cardiac patients of Tehran Heart Centerthat hadundergone CABG surgery were randomly divided into two groups, interval and continuous training. The protocols included 4rep × 4 min at 90-95% for interval group, and 60-80 minutes at 70-85% peak HR for continuous group. HRmax, HRR at 1, 2 and 3 min following Bruce test was assessed before and after the training program. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software version 16 and ANOVA test (p

متن کاملEffect of 4 Weeks Preconditioning with High Intensity Interval Training and Moderate Intensity Continuous Training on Brain Levels of TNF-Α and TLR4 in Male Wistar Rats
Introduction: Inflammation in the brain is known as neuroinflammation and increases TNF-α (Tumor necrosis factor alpha) secretion and activates the TLR4 (Toll-like receptor 4) pathway. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of 4 weeks preconditioning with high intensity intermittent training (HIIT) and moderate intensity training (MICT) on TNF-α and TLR4 levels in male Wistar rats. M...
متن کاملThe Effect of Eight Weeks of High-intensity Interval Training on Lipoprotein-associated Phospholipase A2 and Lipid Profile in a Male Rat Model of Type 2 Diabetes
Introduction: Type 2 diabetes (T2D) causes hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia, and dyslipidemia, which are all risk factors for atherosclerosis. Lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) has been recognized as an indicator of atherosclerosis due to its role in vessel inflammation. This study aimed to investigate the effect of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on serum levels of Lp-PL...

Background & Aim: Obesity is a metabolic disorder that can be controlled and prevented by increasing calorie consumption and reducing calorie intake from food. This study aimed to investigate the effect of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and high-intensity resistance training (HIRT) on lipid profile and body composition in overweight and obese men. Methods: 30 overweight or obese men ...
متن کاملThe effect of eight weeks of cardiac rehabilitation on hemodynamic parameters and blood lipid profile in male patients 55-70 years old CABG coronary artery bypass graft surgery
Extended Abstract 1.Introduction According to the World Health Organization (2010), cardiovascular disease (CHD) is the most common cause of death worldwide (1). Sadeghpour et al. (2010) have shown that one of the most common problems after coronary artery bypass grafting is extensive hemodynamic changes. Incomplete drainage of blood and blood fluid from the pericardium and pleura reduces hea...

ABSTRACT Background and objectives: Sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) is a conserved a NAD+-dependent protein deacetylase essential for cellular metabolism and defence against oxidative stress and endothelial dysfunction. This study aimed to compare effects of 8 weeks of aerobic and combined training on serum level of SIRT1 and PGC1-α in...
